I wholeheartedly believe that your morning can make or break your entire day. I do whatever I can to start out on the right foot so that the rest of my day is, too, on fleek. These are my three morning rituals to guarantee a better day 🙂
1. Take a shot.
Yep, you read that correctly. Every morning, I take a shot… of apple cider vinegar (what else?). ACV has countless benefits, from improved nutrient absorption to better digestion. Seriously, just look it up. This morning ritual will take some getting used to, but it’s definitely worth it.
And I don’t mean your Facebook newsfeed. Start setting your alarm half an hour earlier than you usually do, and use that extra time to dive into the book you’ve been “almost done with” for the last 6 months. It’s an easy way to get in some me time before the day and all of its stressors take you over.
This is a big one. Spend 5 minutes writing in a journal every morning. This doesn’t have to be super serious. Just write whatever is on your mind, as soon as you wake up– your goals, your breakfast, your regrets, your laundry list. It doesn’t matter. It’s just a way to get your brain going in the morning.
